The Schwarts Rounds program is part of MaineHealth's approach to fostering workforce well-being and a culture of compassion.

Unlike clinical rounds, Schwartz Rounds  focus on how team members (clinical and non-clinical) are affected in their patient interactions. 

November 20, 2026: You Can’t Make This Stuff Up - Humor in Medicine

• This experience is open to all care team members and there is no need to pre-register, however it is helpful to have an idea of attendance and special dietary needs so appropriate meals are available.
• Schwartz Rounds start promptly at 12:00 Noon. This is an in-person discussion; there is no option to join virtually.
• Please come early to choose lunch and get settled.  Lunch will be provided with vegetarian and non-vegetarian options. If you have specific dietary needs, please let us know at MHWellbeing@mainehealth.org
