Big Brother/Big Sister Class

Big Brothers or Big Sisters can have an opportunity for special time with Mom and/or Dad before their new baby sibling arrives. This class includes:
- Diapering activity with their own special doll/stuffed animal you bring from home
- Story time about being a new big sibling
- Coloring activity
- "Field trip" to the Birthing Suite to see where Mom will be once the new baby arrives!
This class will last approximately ONE hour. Recommended for Children ages 3 to 7. Mom should be in her last trimester. Class FEE is per family. When checking out, please do not add your children as attendees.

Come join us for a FREE one-hour, evidence-based discussion healthy nutrition! Each session is designed to build on another, but is also useful on its own if you can only make a few! We will focus on quality and quantity of foods, learn how to incorporate a whole-food plant-based eating pattern as recommended by the American College of Lifestyle Medicine, and demonstrate some cooking as time allows!

Congratulations! You're pregnant; now what?
If you are looking for a crash course on how to be a supportive partner in this crazy adventure of having a baby, this class is for you. This online-only class is jam-packed with two hours of edutainment (a hybrid of education and entertainment) that will be great for helping you and your partner get through the duration of pregnancy. We will cover the pre-baby game plan, what happens during labor and delivery, and what to expect once you get home.
Once you sign up for a class, you will receive a Zoom link via email.
This class is for individuals who will be supporting their partners giving birth.
Car Seat Basics ~ Infant Seat to High-Back Booster

Car seat safety has changed a lot over the years. Do you know the safest way to buckle your baby up?
This class helps inform parents, grandparents and other caregivers of the importance of proper child restraint use (car seats) for their infant. You will learn:
- Evidance-based information
- Do's and Dont's of car seat safety
- Proper installation of infant seat & base (bring your personal infant car seat and vehicle manual if able)
- Car Seat Safety Check-In Stations & Events
This class will cover car seat basics, and the knowledge to choose the best safety seat for their child(ren).

Celebrating Birth ~ Childbirth Preparation

Being prepared for childbirth can ease your mind and make your birth experience what you hope it will be. This class will give you the information, resources and skills to prepare you for the birth of your baby.
This class will cover:
- Preparation during last month of pregnancy
- Early labor at home
- What to expect coming to the hospital from admission to discharge
- Stages of labor
- Pain management options
- Optional tour of the Birthing Suite
Expecting mother/couple should be in their last trimester. Class fee is per couple. When checking out, please don't add your support person as an additional attendee, only enter their name when asked.

Safe Baby ~ Infant CPR

It's never too late to take an Infant CPR class! This class is for parents, grandparents, childcare providers and anyone who takes care of your baby.
This is a non-certificate course through American Heart Association, Friends & Family program. Learn basic infant CPR & choking rescue for your little one.
The text Family & Friends CPR will be provided. SMHC certificates of completion are available upon request.
